With over 30 beverages to offer, Sidecar Juicebar is directly across the alleyway from Murphy’s Pub.
Whether it’s something made with greens such as “KaleKenny” or an elixir called “Cork Cloud” Sidecar Juicebar has more selections than Ireland has counties. Offering both cold and hot beverages, Sidecar is eager to catch the morning coffee and tea crowds.
“The juice bar officially open in March of this year and the response has been positive,” said current manager Dylan Sweetman. Now as he is taking charge, he hopes to provide “tastings” for all those craving a fresh-squeezed juice experience. He emphasized that the endeavor of a new business wouldn’t have been possible without the help of dedicated staff like said previous manager Kaytlyn Haynes, who helped open/establish Sidecar Juicebar, and current barista Georgina Van Heerden.
Sweetman explained that Sidecar Juice Bar is owned by brothers Dermot and Tom Coll, who for the past 23-years are also owners of the Abbey Tavern and other ventures in San Francisco as well as here in Sonoma.
Cara Duffy is envisioned all the recipes and beverage combinations,” said Sweetman. Morning libations such as “Faerie Fog” a blend of fresh steeped Irish Breakfast tea with oat milk vanilla & honey; or “Keto Kerry” a coffee drink with coconut, vanilla and cinnamon.
“I’m hoping that Sidecar will become just as popular and busy as Murphy’s,” he said. “Maybe our being right across the alleyway will encourage those who don’t drink alcohol to come over here.” “And maybe for those that do drink, said Sweetman something healthier on our expanding menu will help them with a hangover.”
Open Wednesday through Sunday 7am to 3pm, Sidecar Juicebar is located in “the snug” of the alley at 464 1st Street, East, Suite H. Check out at Sidecar Juicebar on Facebook and Instagram. Or call 707 935-0660.
