Sonoma Overnight Support (SOS) continues to see a big increase in the number of individuals needing meals. In July, 6,255 meals were served.
SOS serves breakfast and lunch in its Unity Kitchen, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. They also deliver meals to the homebound.
Executive Director Kathy King reposts, “We cannot do this without the hard work of our staff and volunteers. To quote Albert Einstein, ‘Life is like riding a bike to keep your balance. You must keep moving.'”
SOS depends upon volunteers. To join their team and help make a difference, click here to apply for their Intake Specialist position. Click here to apply for their Kitchen Aide/Dishwasher position.
King adds, “As always, we are thankful for your support. Please consider making a financial contribution so that no one goes hungry in our community.”
