Assembly member Jared Huffman presented Vode Lighting of Sonoma with his Sustainable North Bay Award for November.
Each month, Huffman recognizes a business or nonprofit organization for developing and utilizing sustainable business practices and/ or for work to improve the environment.
Vode Lighting is a leader in energy efficient lighting and uses design elemental modular solutions with exceptional performance for projects which have included, the California Academy of Sciences, the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, and Autodesk’s LEED Platinum project in San Francisco.
Huffman toured Vode’s East MacArthur Street operations and presented the award to President Tom Warton, Chief Operating Officer George Mieling, and Chief Creative Officer Scott Yu.
