Silver Moon Theatre presents Laugh a Minute Comedy at Murphy’s Irish Pub, Sonoma

When you think that the post holiday doldrums of winter will be taking over your life, Silver Moon Theatre is bringing you a laugh a minute rescue from boredom.

Opening on Thursday January 15, 2026 for a nine performance run at Murphy’s Irish Pub in Sonoma, “Bullshot Crummond”, a parody of the 1930s Bulldog Drummond detective movies, is your ticket to hilarity. Originally conceived by Ron House and Diz White, “Bullshot Crummond” played at the Palladium Theatre in San Francisco, entertaining their audiences for many years during the 1970s with their slap-stick and satire.

The comedy concerns the dastardly Count Otto Von Brunno and Lenya, his evil side-kick, who plan to ruin the international diamond market by kidnapping Professor Rupert Fenton. You will enjoy watching the hero, Bullshot’s efforts to save Professor Fenton, and his lovely daughter, Rosemary from the evil Otto and Lenya Von Brunno. You will thrill to see the talented actors perform quick-change scenes, and you will laugh out loud at the antics of the characters. There are plane crashes, car chases, really evil bad guys (and gal), a beautiful heroine, dungeons, sword fighting, and various other types of mayhem all performed in the Rose Murphy Performing Art Center at Murphy’s Irish Pub.

Much of the plays humor comes from its audacious and intentionally failed efforts to recreate film effects onstage.

Tickets for both General Admission and Show plus delicious Prix Fixe pre show dinner now available through Events.com.

Bullshot Crummond is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
