School district staff and the school board will host another meeting to discuss impending cuts to the budget. Students, parents and community members are invited to come and offer input on the recommended reduction list.

Items on the agenda include: proposal to establish a Sister City relationship with Penglai China; appeal of Planning Commission’s denial of a use permit for the Sonoma Dance Academy; consideration of financial support for Sonoma Jazz Plus; resolution opposing PG&E’s ballot initiative requiring two-thirds vote for local public electricity providers; and resolution in support of the League’s initiative regarding protecting local revenue.
The entire meeting will be broadcast live on SVTV Channel 27 and svtv27.com, with the first of several rebroadcasts on Thursday Jan. 7, at 10 a.m.
