Steinway to heaven

A 1901 Steinway grand piano, a gift from Jack London to his wife in 1910, is the centerpiece of a Feb. 12 concert at Jack London State Historic Park. From 4 to 6:30 p.m. pianists from the Jack London Piano Club will perform in the historic setting of the House of Happy Walls, where Charmian London lived and practiced as an accomplished pianist.

Tickets are $20 and include refreshments on the portico. Parksalliance.com. Proceeds will benefit Valley of the Moon Natural History Association in its effort to operate the park beginning July 1. The park is located at 2400 London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen.
