Please add my name to the list of those who do not want Pet Food Express in town. But they are coming because according to our City Planner, “As a retail use, they could go [next to] Sonoma Market without a use permit. The formula business use permit review doesn’t apply within the larger shopping centers.”
When they do open, let’s not shop there. Instead let’s continue to support: Karen at Sonoma Pet and Aquatics next to Whole Foods, or Ron and Mike at Brocco’s Old Barn on Arnold, or Paul at The Granary Feed and Pet Supply Store on 8th Street East.

What is your objection to Petfood Express? They are the most rescue friendly pet store I know of. They host adoption events. They give discounts to rescue groups. They give gifts to new adopters and a discount to get them started. They donate all returned items to rescue. They have the most generous return policy of any store I know.
