There won’t be a Sonoma Valley Health Care Coalition meeting tonight,
Monday, Feb. 12.
The coalition usually meets at 7 p.m. at the Sonoma Community Center.
The ad hoc group has been meeting at various locations for months to try
to come up with a plan to build a new Sonoma Valley Hospital that meets
state seismic standards.
But the coalition held two meetings Saturday with a panel that included
consultant Carl Gerlach to discuss three options for a new hospital that
are still in the running: one on Broadway, one in town near the current
hospital, and a privately built hospital on Eighth Street East.
Coalition member Shelly Arrowsmith promised to share information about
the Saturday meetings on the coalition’s blog, svhcc.blogspot.com.
“I’ll be sending a more extensive e-mail about the Saturday meetings,
next steps, more info on the blog, etc. when I get caught up for my
farming! It will be a day or so,” Arrowsmith wrote in a Monday e-mail.
She added, “P.S. I just got word that Bill Boerum and I will be on the
Radio, KSVY 91.3 FM tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. I’m sure we’ll talk about
the recent outreach meetings and, probably, the parcel tax. If you want
to, tune in!”
No health care coalition meeting tonight.
