Celebrate the 19th annual Holiday in Carneros Open House the weekend of Nov, 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on both days. Eighteen wineries located at the southern end of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys in the Carneros district, are expected to participate.
New for this year’s event, most wineries will feature food and wine pairings, with recipes and entertaining ideas created by each winery owner or winemaker. These will be printed on collectible cards, and bound for participants to take with them.
Admission is $25 per person. Just purchase a logo glass at any participating winery on either day of the event. Admission includes a Holiday in Carneros logo glass, wine tasting, and a variety of unique offerings planned by the individual wineries. In addition to the food and wine pairings, these offerings may include live entertainment, barrel, reserve, vertical, or library wine tastings and more.
Proceeds from Holiday in Carneros admission will provide scholarships for students attending Napa Valley College and Santa Rosa Junior College. Funds will be earmarked for students who are studying wine-related subjects or whose families are in the wine business.
Some of the wineries expected to participate in Holiday in Carneros are Adastra, Bouchaine, Castle, Ceja, Cline, Cuvaison, Etude, Homewood, Larson Family, MacRostie, Mahoney Vineyards, McKenzie-Mueller, Parmelee-Hill Wines, Robledo, Schug, Tin Barn, Truchard and Viansa.
