New owner dishes up healthy yogurt
Located in the Maxwell Shopping Center, Scoops yogurt shop is now under new management. Owner Mauricio Reyes offers a wide selection of healthy yogurt and shakes for lactose-intolerant customers and diabetics. The owner’s sister is often found behind the counter, dishing up refreshing yogurt products that are natural, nonfat, have no cholesterol and are calcium-fortified. Scoops is at 19151 Hwy. 12. Chateau Sonoma hosts ‘French
Flea Market’
Chateau Sonoma invites the public to its 4th Annual French Flea Market on May 19 and 20, featuring French importers from around the Bay Area who will set up their wares behind Chateau Sonoma in the garden court. Ten percent of proceeds will be donated to Stand By Me Mentoring.
“This event promises to be a lively, European-feeling flea market perfect for discovering that one-of-kind conversation piece,” said proprietor Sarah Anderson. “Plus, we really enjoy supporting the Mentor program. It’s had a profound impact on the kids, and mentors, we know!”
