Kathleen Hill, local epicurean, prolific writer and longtime contributor to both the Sonoma Valley Sun and FineLife, has been appointed to the newly created position of Food and Wine Editor. She will oversee ThreeHouse MultiMedia’s coverage of two defining aspects of the Sonoma Valley.
“We wanted to expand our coverage of wine and food, both of which are so vital to the Sonoma Valley, and we already had a terrific resource in Kathleen,” said Stephanie Dunn, president of ThreeHouse MultiMedia, Inc.,
“This is a fantastic opportunity for us to relay news and information about Sonoma’s food and wine communities to our readers,” said Hill, who has covered the local scene for the past 30 years.
Hill, who writes “Cooking with Love” and “Hot Tips” each week, also hosts an eponymous radio show on KSVY 91.3 FM Sonoma from 4 to 5 p.m. every Monday. She is also the co-author, with husband Gerald Hill, of the Hill Guides (Insider Guides) to Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley, and other west coast wine regions from Santa Barbara to British Columbia. Hill’s articles have been featured in the Wine Spectator, National Geographic Traveler, San Francisco Magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle and the Chicago Tribune. Her television credits include appearances on NBC News, CNN, C-SPAN and Arthur Frommer’s Show on the Travel Network.
In addition to her new duties, Kathleen Hill will continue to produce her columns for both the Sun and FineLife.
