‘Save the Date’ for The Sunnys

ThreeHouse MultiMedia, Inc., has announced that the gala celebrating The Sunnys, its annual community awards program, will be held on March 24 at the Lodge at Sonoma. The event will honor the 2006 Community Organization of the Year, the Valley of the Moon Children’s Foundation, which serves the needs of abused, abandoned and neglected children of all ages through its work at the Valley of the Moon Children’s Home.
“It has been a great pleasure to see the fine work of the foundation,” said Stephanie Dunn, president of ThreeHouse MultiMedia. “We are excited to give this dedicated group of volunteers the recognition they so richly deserve.”
George C. Forrester is the president of the foundation, which, in partnership with the county-run Valley of the Moon Children’s Home, helps the approximately 1200 children who pass through the emergency shelter every year.
“It’s great when people who do volunteer work get acknowledged for what they do,” he said.
The Sunnys will also celebrate the selections for the 2006 Individual of the Year and the 2006 Business of the Year, which have yet to be announced.
Proceeds from the evening, which will include dinner and dancing, will benefit the VOM Children’s Foundation.
