I Say Drink, You Say Wine

Wine lovers looking to earn their stripes might consider Wine Boot Camp, a total-immersion experience among the vines and cellars&#46Not for the faint of heart, Wine Boot Camp exposes its recruits to the winemaking process from soup to nuts, using every sense to feel and learn how vintners make good wine. The intensive one-day program is limited to 30 recruits per session. “We’re looking for a few good palates,” says Barbara Drady, Wine Boot Camp Director and self-proclaimed “wine evangelist.” Camp includes workshops, extensive tasting, lunch in the vineyard, dinner paired with appropriate wines, a one-of-a-kind bottle of wine created by the recruit, transportation to all events, and souvenir hat and T-shirt.
