Consignment store moves closer to downtown
Vignette Consignment and Design has relocated to 565 West Napa Street from its former quarters at 19230 Sonoma Highway. The new location gives Vignette greater accessibility to customers and offers added parking. Vignette carries fine furnishings and household décor on a consignment basis, and provides design services by owner Naghmeh Alikhani. 565 West Napa St.; 707.933.9345. New owners for
popular plaza eatery
The Sunflower Caffé on First Street West has new owners, James Hahn and his wife, Mila Chaname. Set in an historic building on the Plaza, the Sunflower Caffé was opened two years ago by Susan and Dan Mellon, who made extensive changes in the food and décor, adding noted local chef, Curtis Dorsett. Dorsett will remain as Executive Chef, managing the kitchen operation. Hahn and Chaname have added a larger selection of wines from the region, available by the glass or retail, and plan to offer wine flights in the near future. Saturdays and Sundays, the Caffé will also host a BBQ from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hahn and Chaname founded and own Rapid Retail Inc., a national franchise based in Santa Rosa, and both have long-term experience in the food industry. 421 First Street West. Popular demand prompts Cyclery expansion
Sonoma Valley Cyclery has moved next door to its original location on Broadway and expanded its operations. Owner Brad Sahs, who opened the shop 12 years ago, made the move to accommodate greater numbers of bike rental customers and provide a better showroom for sales of Trek and Specialized bicycles and gear.
