Highway 12 – Boyes Boulevard: Caltrans has announced that crews will begin work Monday, December 15 through Friday, December 19 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. on sidewalk repair project along Boyes Boulevard. To keep one lane open in each direction during construction, a traffic shift may occur that will eliminate the center turn lane during sidewalk repair. Work will be noisy and may cause minor inconveniences. Five minute traffic delays are estimated in both directions.
Highway 12 – Sierra Drive to Academy Lane: Pacific Gas and Electric crews will continue work Monday, December 15 through Friday, December 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on an underground utility relocation project in anticipation for the upcoming Highway 12 Sidewalk and Street Improvement Project. To keep one lane open in each direction during construction, a traffic shift may occur that will eliminate the center turn lane during the utility relocation operation. Work will be noisy and may cause minor inconveniences when trying to access local businesses. Traffic delays are estimated between five to ten minutes in both directions.
Highway 12 – Donald Street to Main Street: Highway 12 east and westbound traffic will have a shared turn lane for thru traffic between Donald Street and Main Street. Traffic will be directed by flaggers onsite beginning Monday, December 15 through Friday, December 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
