Editor’s note: The following letter was sent to Sonoma Valley Hospital.
To Kelly Mather, CEO Sonoma Valley Hospital
Dear Kelly: This letter is to show our appreciation for the wonderful and loving care that the staff of Sonoma Valley Hospital’s 2 North staff gave to our Marie – D. Marie Miller – who passed away on Friday, August 27. I realize that the staff were doing their jobs but the attention they gave to us as family members – whether it was a question asked or a need fulfilled – they were Johnny-on-the-spot. Two shifts by RN Elbert Sena and one by RN Jessica and CNA Maria were the best care we could have received. I apologize for any names I have missed but again, we thank the 2 North staff. That being said, I could not write this letter without also saying thank you to the skilled nursing staff. Again, more names than I cannot remember, but they remember our Marie, and were just superb in their endeavors to take care of her.
Again, thanks to the great staff of SVH.
