Editor: As the saying goes, money talks. Those of us who are Sonoma Valley Bank customers, and don’t want to see Westamerica Bank close the Boyes Hot Springs and Glen Ellen branches, can use the power of our money to take a stand.
My husband and I have been customers of Sonoma Valley Bank since its founding. When the Boyes Hot Springs branch opened, we frequently banked there. We have sent a letter to Westamerica’s CEO David Payne saying that if he closed the Springs branch, we would take our business to another bank. I ask other Westamerica Bank customers to consider doing the same.
