Digging it

A groundbreaking was held last week to unveil the new garden taking shape at Sonoma Charter School. Many volunteers have stepped forward to make the garden a reality. Among them, Ruth Roberson (pictured with students and siblings) who designed and built the keyhole garden at Cornerstone then replicated it at the Charter School. Also from Cornerstone, Teresa Raffo and her crew, who did much of the work. Sonoma Materials donated compost. Fine Line Art Supply donated paints and brushes for a new garden banner. Numerous school and community volunteers have also donated time and effort to the cause.
