A workshop that tells teen “What Employers Want” will be hosted by Sonoma Valley Teen Services on Monday afternoon, December 1.
Teen Services has teamed up with the Economic Vitality Partnership of the City of Sonoma and the Sonoma Valley Chamber to add this special session to the “Ready to Work” certification program. The free session is for ages 15 to 19.
Included will an interactive panel discussion on what employers look for when hiring, and what it takes to be successful in a first job. On hand will be representatives from local businesses, including Dutch Bros. Coffee, Bolt Staffing, Grandma Linda’s Ice Cream, Sonoma Old School, The Girl & the Fig, and Whole Foods.
The workshop will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at Sonoma Valley High School, room J-15. For more contact Jodie Taylor at 939.1452.
