Gifts of community good

Posted on April 14, 2015 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Editor: Yesterday after calling the IRS to help me with my income tax return I was referred to the free tax service at the Vintage House in Sonoma. I went immediately, as I was baffled by this years return: not having a book to follow and the added change due to the Affordable Care Act. What I found was a real gift of what makes Sonoma good.

The AARP volunteers were able to help me with my return quickly and professionally. I was done in less than 45 minutes. I was also pleased upon recieving a credit. I wanted to donate to those who helped me and this is what they suggested: Support AARP and the Vintage House. Upon leaving I renewed my Vintage House Membership and upon returning home joined AARP. A BIG Thank You Again to the AARP Volunteers and Vintage House. They are a big addition to making my life in Sonoma truly a possibility.
