There’s still time to march in Sonoma’s famous 4th of July Parade — the deadline to enter a group in the patriotic procession is June 27.
The Parade of 60+ entries — vintage cars, horses, floats, community and kids groups, fire trucks, and at least one unicycle — begins at 10 a.m. winding its way around the Plaza.
This year’s theme: “Rocket out of this World,” noting the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.
Deadline for applications is June 27 at midnight.
The Parade begins a full day and night of 4th fun. After the parade, enjoy an old-fashioned festival with food, drink and game booths by Sonoma’s nonprofit organizations. Then, all eyes shift to the skies at dusk above General Vallejo’s field for the spectacular fireworks show,
