The Pets Lifeline Board of Directors were presented a check in the amount of $5,000 from the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL). Sigrid Price and Marge Sheridan presented the check at a recent board meeting.
Price explained that the local district of the ACBL, The Vintage Duplicates Bridge Club, is given $30,000 every six years to distribute in their local community.
Several nonprofits were nominated and Pets Lifeline’s Capital Campaign was chosen as the recipient for the Vintage Duplicate Bridge Club’s grant.
“We were so surprised and honored that of all the nonprofits in consideration, the bridge players selected Pets Lifeline’s Capital Campaign,”said Nancy King, PLL executive director. “This contribution will be dedicated to the Animal Resource Center, and we are still raising the gap goal of $300,000,” commented Nancy King, executive director of pets Lifeline.
