Comcast opens 7,000 WiFi hotspots to help fire-impacted residents

To help residents and emergency personnel stay connected during the Kincade fire, Comcast is opening 7,000 Xfinity WiFi hotspots in Sonoma and Napa Counties for free use by anyone who needs them – including non-Xfinity customers.

Private Xfinity WiFi hotspots (such as those in customers’ homes) will not be opened up to others.

For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, which are located at small businesses and in outdoor locations such as shopping districts and parks, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi.
