David Talbot is a journalist, author, and media executive. He is the founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the early web magazine, Salon, which gained a large following and broke several national news stories. He has worked as a senior editor of Mother Jones magazine and written for Time, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone and others. Since leaving Salon, he has written several expertly researched books about our hidden history. They include: The Devil’s Chessboard: Allen Dulles, The CIA, and the Rise of American’s Secret Government; Brothers: The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years and his latest, Between Heaven and Hell, which details his very personal story of recovery from a stroke.
