Red Flag Warning extended through Saturday morning

The US National Weather Service has extended the Red Flag Warning now in place through Saturday, Oct. 3, at 6 a.m. The update adds 12 hours to the warning issued Wednesday.

The Warning, and concurrent Heat Advisory, means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring or will shortly.
