What Glen Ellen’s annual parade lacks in length — the whole town is about two blocks long — it makes up in community spirit.

The 2022 Glen Ellen Village Fair was another spirited event, as the one and only main street was closed down for food and crafts booths, live music with hay bale seating, kids games and lots of small-town charm. This year’s theme: “The Tradition Continues.”

The Grand Marshall duo was Leslie and Vaughan (above); she had produced the event for many years until Shannon Lee took over this year. Leslie described it as “just super chill and a great fun day! Thank you all for making is extra special for us.”

Shannon agreed: “What a wonderful day — great weather, great parade, great auction, great raffle/t-shirts/posters, great set-up, great clean-up, great music, great vendors, great food, and FANTASTIC people. Teamwork makes the dream work!!
