KSVY goes live with a call for volunteers

KSVY 93.1 FM & Sonoma TV, named nonprofit of the year in 2022 by the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce, have many volunteer opportunities and are actively seeking new hosts and more. 

Community Radio & TV Volunteer Opportunities 

Community radio means you! KSVY Sonoma 91.3 FM has broadcast radio for nearly two decades as an  independent, nonprofit, noncommercial, volunteer-run, community-driven, listener-supported radio station. 

Radio & TV production takes a considerable effort & crew 

Pull the curtain back on big media by creating your community media. You can join with your neighbors and friends  to keep KSVY & SonomaTV on the air to bring unique, hyperlocal radio to over 450 sq. mi. of broadcast range,  with listeners in Sonoma, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, American Canyon, and others. We also stream worldwide at  ksvy.org 

Volunteering can take many paths 

You don’t need experience to join our community, just interest, willingness, and creativity. Volunteering with us  will bring you to the heart and center of a fascinating and inspiring group of producers engaged with all spheres of  our community.  

Producing Radio & TV is Rewarding and Fun 

Suppose you are interested in broadcast journalism, music, civics, radio engineering, sound production, and  recording arts or want to get involved in a great community nonprofit organization. In that case, you are welcome to  join KSVY & SonomaTV.
