What is your favorite word or phrase?
Sinead Noonan, Sonoma
My favorite word is, joy. I just feel that when you come from a place of joy, everything else works out. I walk the trail pretty much every day for that reason. For joy. To be in the vineyards and nature. I meet people on the trail. Everybody looks into your eyes and says “Good Morning”, and “Hello” and acknowledges one another. It’s just a simple emotion but it can change everything in your life.

Thank you. I think it is always nice to acknowledge when someone does something nice or provides a service for you. In a positive manner. I try to use it as much as I can; whenever appropriate. I use it many times a day.
Debbie Pulizzano, Sonoma
My favorite word recently is, dude. Only because my oldest grandson who is five watches an Australian cartoon, Bluey, and he has learned the word from the cartoon. He calls everyone, “Hey dude, hey dude”. I just think it’s hysterical. I don’t say it back to him but I love hearing it.
Leo Hummer, Sonoma
Keep the faith. Because my father used it if we were down to lift us up. In my family, we use it when things don’t go quite right. We’ll say, “Hey, keep the faith.” And it works.
Chelsea from Charlotte, North Carolina
Just today. It’s a really good reminder not to get ahead of yourself, and to stay in the moment. I like it so much that I tattooed it on me.

Keep moving forward. It’s a reminder that, no matter what happens, just keep moving forward to the next best thing. Follow your dreams and don’t stop. I think of it whenever something is not going the way I want or I just feel stuck. I am actually going to get it tattooed with a symbol for it. aIt will mean staying open and moving forward.
