Here comes the roundabout

After decades of discussion, the blinking red light at the intersection of Hwy 121 and Hwy 116 will be replaced by a $27 million roundabout. CalTrans estimates it will be completed in 2026.

Intended to provide smoother traffic flow at the busy intersection and reduce accidents,  CalTrans released a video animation of how the road improvement will change the intersection.
