Sonoma’s Tuesday night Farmers Market begins tonight

Ribbon-cutting will open this year’s Farmers Market, the weekly gathering in Sonoma’s eight acre Plaza that attracts locals and visitors alike.

More than just a Farmers Market, the weekly gathering features music and food vendors in addition to the produce of local farmers.

Beginning at 5:30 and running until dusk, the market has been in operation for well over 30 years, although the management and operation of the market has changed hands several times over the years.

Attendees are encouraged to walk to the market, as parking on the Plaza is not easy to find and the streets often congested with traffic.
