In what has become a celebrated and festive yearly event, the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau has announced the “Lighting of the Plaza” will take place on November 23, at 5p.m.
For the last several weeks crews have been working to install tens of thousands of lights adorning the trunks and crowns of trees in every quadrant of the Historic Sonoma Plaza, turning the green eight-acre park into a sparkling nightly spectacle.
The lighting will be accompanied by music, dance performances, hot cocoa, cookies, beer and wine and food items provided by a range of food trucks. The public is invited and there is no charge to attend.
