An installation inspired by Mexican folk art created for the Day of the Dead, “Noche de las Mariposa,” is still turning heads at the Sonoma Community Center. Visitors are invited to wear painted skull masks and wander among swarming butterflies in an otherworldly, glow-in-the-dark atmosphere within the Back Stage Theater.
The exhibition is free. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays noon to 5 p.m.
