Eleven different Faith Community leaders will participate in an Interfaith Service on Thanksgiving morning at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. The 10 a.m. service is open to all who would like to give thanks communally in song, music and symbol. The speaker will be Rabbi Steve Finley.
As each person enters, they will be provided an apple, explained Rev Peadar Dalton, president of Sonoma Valley Ministerial Association. “During the service, each participant will exchange the apple with a fellow participant and then take that apple to his or her family Thanksgiving Dinner, representing the concept that we all belong to each other, in giving thanks, as members of the human family.”
St. Andrews is located at 6290 Arnold Drive.
