Teachers and staff retiring from the Sonoma Valley School district were celebrated — in story, song and heartfelt thanks from their peers — in a May 20 reception at Gundlach Bundschu Winery: Steve Thomas, David Donnelley, Gary Griffith, Pat Reed, Bonnie Marshall, Kate Tharler, Judy Frey Cohen and Rosemarie Green.
