SolarCraft in Novato, a solar energy system integrator, has strong Sonoma ties. Its co-founder Bill Stewart is a long-time Sonoma resident, and the company just announced that Sonoma resident Dennis King has joined SolarCraft as a sales executive. King will specialize in developing residential and commercial solar energy projects locally.
King has lived in Sonoma Valley since 1981. A former firefighter and investigator with the San Francisco Fire Department, he expressed his enthusiasm for the renewable energy field. ”I have wanted to do something good,” said King, “to help preserve the quality of life that we all enjoy in our lovely valley. For me solar is the answer. We can help Sonoma improve the quality of life now and for future generations.”
SolarCraft has been in business for 23 years, installing more than 4,000 solar energy systems, including some 300 in the Sonoma Valley at such locations as Cline Cellars, FAHA Manor, and Chanterelle.
