The second annual pancake breakfast fundraiser for the Sonoma Valley High School Music Department will be served Feb. 13, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Sonoma Veterans Building.
Tickets are $10 and, in addition to breakfast and a silent auction, include live music. Proceeds will help send the members of the school’s three choirs and two bands to the Heritage Festival competition to be held in Anaheim this spring. Last year, Sonoma Valley High school brought home four silver medals from the prestigious event.
The event was initiated as student Ron Perkins’ Senior Project, and it raised over $8,000 for the Music Department. Perkins is now a freshman at Sonoma State, where he is a member of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Chorus.
