Hospice training offered

Hospice By The Bay is looking for volunteers to forward its mission of providing comfort and compassion to terminally ill patients and their caregivers. Careful screening, orientation and 30 hours of training ensure that volunteers are well prepared for the challenges and rewards of hospice service.
Many volunteers find their lives enriched not only by the gift of service, but also by connecting with fellow human beings confronting end-of-life.
