Located just outside of Sonoma Valley, Ernie’s Tin Bar is a mainstay of dive bar lovers and road warriors traveling throughout southern Sonoma County.

While Ernie’s is known for it’s special rules (no cell phones) and quirky characters (ranchers that speak French), patrons are often left with bellies full of beer and nothing much else, unless you want to throw down a few bucks for a bag of potato chips.

Ernie’s fans, get ready: starting Friday, October 23, Q Craft will be serving up BBQ to patrons.

Chef Brannon has been serving up some of the best BBQ in Wine Country for a few years now, bringing his fancy smoker on wheels out to locations throughout the area.

He’s got quite a cult following, so much that he is the only Sonoma Valley based food purveyor that serves up tasty morsels at Gundlach Bundschu’s Huichica Festival (and the Mudhoney show this Friday).

Every Friday, Brannon will be serving up a fresh menu of BBQ from 4pM until close. The menu prices range from $10-$15 and will surely satisfy you more than a bag of Lay’s. Menu items will include:

  • BBQ Hog Island Oysters with hot pepper butter
  • Smoked Duck Bao with Vietnamese Caramel
  • Smoked Wings with BBQ Sauce
  • St. Louis Ribs with Pickled Peppers
  • Pulled Pork Sliders with Hand Cut no-mayo slaw

Bring cash! Don’t want to drive? You can call the famed Ernie’s Tin Bar shuttle, which will pick you up in Sonoma Valley and bring you to Ernie’s, and back home, at no charge. Ernie’s Tin Bar is located at 5100 Lakeville Hwy, Petaluma, 762-2075.
