Start the early evening out at a tasting at Pangloss Cellars (35 E. Napa St., Sonoma | 933-8565 | panglosscellars.com). The hottest tasting room on the Plaza offers delicious, reasonably priced wines and food pairings using the best of Sonoma County. The tasting room is beautifully designed, offering cozy leather couches, and plenty of places sneak a kiss between sips.

Take a step across the street for dinner at Cafe La Haye (140 E. Napa St., Sonoma | 935-5994 | cafelahaye.com) for California-style cuisine celebrating seasonal flavors. If you can’t get a reservation, request a seat at the bar and watch the kitchen work its magic. For dinner, try one of the specials, the risotto is always delicious and the quail is the best in Sonoma County. For dessert, go with their classic butterscotch pudding.

Wrap up the evening with a glass of bubbles at Sigh (29 E. Napa St., Sonoma | 996-2444 | sighsonoma.com), the area’s only champagne lounge. Splurge on a glass of Dom Perignon  or keep it reasonable, and delicious, with a glass of JCB No. 69 Cremant.
