Letter from Sonoma’s newest city councilmember

Posted on November 5, 2020 by Sonoma Valley Sun

With election day behind us, we’ve officially won our race for Sonoma City Council!

In the months since I launched this effort, I’ve been amazed by the number of people who’ve volunteered their time, publicly endorsed me, and gave max-out donations. So many people have emailed, called and texted words of encouragement and campaign advice. Thank you all for this.

I’d also like to say a special thank you to my wonderful girlfriend, Monica, and her daughter, Bronte, for acting as my campaign team. Their love, enthusiasm, and confidence in me formed the foundation of this campaign.

Now, I’m eager to get to work as your next Sonoma City Council Member. Our residents are ready to start a new era of honesty and integrity in local government. We will be hiring a new City Manager and focusing on recovering from the COVID-caused recession. I look forward to being part of this process.

Depending on when the vote is certified, I’ll take my oath of office on Monday, Dec. 7 or Monday, Dec. 14. I hope you’ll virtually attend the City Council Meeting that evening to cheer me on. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
