Posted on December 30, 2021 by Sonoma Valley Sun

After 40 years since Catherine Sevenau earned her real estate license, after 25 years of co-owning and running CENTURY 21 Wine Country, after 11 years of partnership with CENTURY 21 NorthBay Alliance, and after one month of changing the name to CENTURY 21 Epic Wine Country, “Linda De Martini and I have passed on our ownership positions to CENTURY 21 Epic and our management roles to our fellow Broker, Duane Margreiter.”

“We are pleased to leave our company in capable and caring hands,” Sevenau said.

Sevenau said she wishes to thank “everyone who has passed through our doors and supported us in this venture: our partners, our agents and staff, our clients, and our families and friends, along with our local fellow brokerages, agents, and affiliates. We’ve always been, and had, a good team.

“We are not departing from the business or the company we love but will remain as advisors and agents, so we’ll continue to see you around the bend,” she said. “It’s been a ride, and we look forward to once again simply being passengers.”

On Dec. 30, 2021, the final legal papers were signed and the office lease was officially transferred to the new owners.
“Just like any escrow, it always gets right down to the wire,: Catherine said. “Our goal was to close out everything in this tax year. We made it by a day.”
