Independent pharmacy opens at Sonoma’s old Pharmaca spot

Mayor Sandra Lowe cuts the ribbon as Adobe Drugs celebrates its opening at 303 W. Napa St. The space had been the location of Pharmaca, which closed suddenly on February 25 when the parent company went bankrupt.

Pharmacist Aman Garg, who worked for Pharmaca, signed the lease to open his own, independent pharmacy. The store is open now, but he said it will be another month or so before the pharmacy will be open for prescription service. Read our May interview with Garg.
