Model behavior


Sonoma kids, tweens and teens strut their stuff at the annual Fashion in the Vineyards, an annual fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley.

Fashion_in_the_Vineyard-18-1Held at Nancy and John Lasseter’s train barn in Glen Ellen, the evening, according to Event Chair Dana Freudenberger, was the first sell-out. “The sponsorships and in-kind donations kicked the doors wide open,” she said. “The community support, generosity, and participation was humbling.
 A huge thank you to Nancy & John Lasseter
for opening up their doors to host our event.”

Kelly Cooper’s new men’s activewear line, Qor, opened the October 4 fashion show: Half-Pint and Old School Sonoma outfitted kids in adorable and fun attire, while Helen Lyall and Scott Lyall presented their stunning designs for men and women.

In addition to fashion, food and dancing, alumnus Pio Valenzuela spoke to the crowd about the importance of teen programs at BGCSV for kids in Sonoma Valley.

Another highlight: Erik Garcia received the Angel Award for his outstanding service and commitment to Sonoma Valley kids. A longtime supporter, Erik served on the Club’s executive board from 2007-2011 and has continued to support Sonoma Valley kids with his time, talent, and resources through the years.
