Sonoma-to-Santa Rosa commuters will add at least a quarter-hour to their daily drive this week as Caltrans starts one Valley project and continues working on another.
Crews will begin work today on utilities along Highway 12 between Kunde Winery Road and the Kenwood Inn from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. There will be one-way traffic control and flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
In the Springs, westbound Highway 12 at Waterman Avenue will also be under flagged one-way traffic control 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. as maintenance crews work on water and sewer lines.
The projects are expected to continue through Friday, with estimated delays of 15 minutes at each site.
