Pets Lifeline

This year is our 10th year of Summer Camp, and we are celebrating with a Camp that’s better than ever! Our Camp runs all summer long from June 8 – August 14. The Camp is from 9:00 until 12:00 Monday through Friday and is for children ages 6 – 12.

Each day has a theme that is built on during the week. Campers learn the needs of animals and how to respect them. They learn safety around dogs and cats and what it takes to keep pets healthy and happy. The 30 minutes spent in the Kitten Room helping to socialize our young kittens is a high point of the day.

There are art activities and visits from special dog guests. Lynette Lyon comes each week with animals from her “menagerie.” The Campers watch our Dog Handlers work and see the progress made with each dog. For kids who love animals, this is the Camp to choose!

The Theatre School

The Theater School is committed to guiding young people toward authentic self-expression, safe emotional intelligence, and meaningful shared discovery.

Smaller classes and camps, focused on the social-emotional benefits of theater, and ensemble based collaboration set us apart from all other theatrical experiences in the area.  During adolescence, young people are discovering themselves emotionally, socially, personally, and creatively.  At The Theater School kids and teenagers are allowed to do so in a safe, meaningful, and exhilarating manner with their peers and mentors supporting their experiences every step of the way.

Theater education is about more than putting on a play, it is about a group of people collaborating to create something they are passionate about, and the revelations they discover along the way. We explore the universal truths within ourselves, those around us, and from our past.  Get on stage with us at The Theater School.  Creating characters creates character!
