Hundreds flocked to the Sonoma Plaza on Saturday to celebrate beautiful historic cars, local food, and local wine as a fundraiser for Sonoma Speedway Children’s Charities and the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation.

The event featured 27 historic cars, including five owned by locals. The cars paraded around the Square before parking in front of City Hall. One of the more affordable fundraising events in Sonoma Valley, for $30-35, attendees voted on their favorite historic cars and sampled food from nine local purveyors and wine from 11 local wineries.

The event raised over $20,000 for Sonoma Speedway Children’s Charities and Sonoma Valley Education Foundation!

The event is part of the annual Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival which takes at Sonoma Raceway each May. One part car show, one part race, the festival brings car lovers from around the world to show off their historic race cars. Learn more at racesonoma.com and sonoma.speedwaycharities.org.
