On Monday, we reported that one child had found a razor blade in a candy bar that they received while trick or treating on the northwest side of Sonoma.
Ottavio Gravatt, a 12-year-old, discovered a metal blade in a Butterfinger candy bar on Halloween night, while examining his candy with his friends.
Now, a second family is reporting a scary discover: a sewing needle in a Snickers bar. This was reported on Tuesday and the police are investigating.
Police do not think the two incidents are related – the children were trick or treating in different neighborhoods of Sonoma.
We’ll keep you up to date on the latest findings as they are reported from the police.
