The 1964 musical finds a proper English gentleman (Rex Harrison) attempting to transform a feisty Cockney street urchin into a presentable English lady. He does it so well she turns into Audrey Hepburn. The star power plus a memorable score (“I’ve Grown Accustomed to your Face,” “Get Me to the Church on Time”) made “My Fair Lady” a huge hit and multiple Oscar winner, even with Hepburn’s dubbed singing voice. The film screens Monday, Feb. 21 at The Sebastiani Theatre, part of the monthly Vintage Film Series to benefit the theatre’s foundation. Tickets are $8 and guests are invited to “dress in the era.” More at sebastianitheatre.com.
