Dedication party for Kenwood gazebo

The Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation will dedicate a new gazebo at Kenwood Plaza Park on Saturday, September 20, at noon. The gazebo was built in memory of Bobby Musser-Kirby, a five-year-old Kenwood resident who was tragically killed when a tree fell on his family’s car.

Kenwood Plaza Park is located at 200 Warm Springs Rd. in Kenwood.

Speakers at the dedication will include Susan Gorin, Supervisor, Sonoma County 1st District; Bert Whitaker, Operations Manager, Sonoma County Regional Parks; Don MacNair, owner of MacNair Landscape Architecture and designer of the gazebo; and Warren Musser, grandfather of Bobby Musser-Kirby.

The dedication will be followed by Jazz, Blues and Barbecue in the Park, with funds raised to benefit ongoing improvements at Kenwood Plaza Park, as well as support other Sonoma County Regional Parks.
Details about that event can be found online at:

Tickets are $35-$45 for adults, and $5 for 10 and under.
