Gather, grow, go

Michelle Dale, Anne Marie Sebastiani and Piper Abodeely have backgrounds in training, coaching, leadership, business development and healthy living. Last March, they kicked around an idea for conference for women to learn about those topics, from experts, together in one place, with wine and socializing along the way.

The three met at Peet’s, at each other’s homes, wherever, and as the G3 Women’s Conference (Nov. 10-12 at MacArthur Place in Sonoma) took shape, and the workload grew, the experience began to parallel the goal of the event. Acquaintances when the planning began, the three now are close friends, their skill sets complimentary. They hold jobs and have kids, so the live/work balance – “controlling your life, not letting it control you” — was always in play.

Since March, one made a major career move, one had a baby and one lost her mother. The goal, challenge and message: move forward, and share the experience.
